Bob commented about our collaboration in an interview "....I've always wanted to be in a band so I get to live out my fantasies by writing the lyrics and working with a musician/composer..."Well..I've been in many bands (nice wig!)...
But, it's true...Bob hasn't actually been in any bands...
Yet....I think that we are currently composing, recording and producing the Wubbzy songs very much like a functioning band. We have our lyricist and songwriters. We have our players. And we have our recording engineer. Songs are the most important thing in a band and songs are all we have!
The reason it feels most like a band to me at the moment is because the songs wouldn't be the same if one of our members weren't involved in the process. Bob's lyrics, my music and singing and Scott's production makes it seem like we're actually recording these Wubbzy songs for an album.
I don't know what kind of band Bob wants to be in but from my experience, this is a really good band for now. True, we don't have any live shows scheduled.....YET! But we have a high creative output with an emphasis on fun and trying new things. We're coming up with songs we enjoy, not usually starting out with any genres or styles in mind.
The main objective is to effectively link with and help drive excellent animation. So far it seems to be working.
What should we name the band?!

Please tell us when you will be publishing the Wubsy CD or where we can download them. My preschooler wants to put them on his iPod - you're music is like baby crack...:-)
Hi Mr Mossman, it's been great to read about Wubbzy songs because I think they're really great and so do my daughters. I was actually looking for you on the net because I expressly wanted to find out who wrote the songs and if there was a CD and I was delighted to find that you consider it to be a band, it certainly is. Perhaps you should call yourselves the Wubbsville Wockers or something of that ilk. Best of luck.

On behalf of my entire family: thank you so much for the great tunes. And thanks too for keeping the tempo over 170BPM for every single song no matter what. How awesome. My brain is melting from all the Wubbzy songs stuck in there. You must put out the album ASAP!

Thanks for explaining the process of how you make your songs. I was searching to find out what band sings the Wubbzy songs when I came accross this site. It's funny to read at the end that you have come to the conclusion that "we're a band". As for band names, I think I'll ask my 4 year old and get back to you!
Also I want to say how impressed I am at the positive messages you are sending to our children - the songs are just brilliant! I'm hoping they'll be compiled on a cd or dvd soon.

the show and music are a golden treat in this age of dumb cartoons. I was hesitant to watch the show at 1st but now it is recorded and I even watch it without my 3 year old. the songs are cute fun uplifting and simple. My kids dance around like maniacs at the opening song which I laugh out loud so hard I cry when they do it. Simply put, never stop making this gem of a cartoon, we love it....from bakersfield ca

song has driven so much attn.both my kids watch the show and everyday I get a good dose of the music. it's always on my mind; that guitar work is just so awesome. now I'm looking for that song on disc. great music.
wow i cant believe so many people are looking for a CD. i want one do as the songs are so addictive. and clearly a CD is in popular demand
i want a cd too! these songs are so infectious and each of them gives a positive message to boot. "don't lie" is one of our favorites and my wife and i are always singing that to our 4 year old son and 3 year old daughter.
we listen to these songs every day (we have all the wubbzy's recorded to dvd) and we can't get enough. we want a cd so that we can take the songs on the road. we'll be in line to buy if you make one (please, please do!)!

I want to add that I have recently discovered WOW WOW WUBBZY and my 3 yr old LOVES the shows. The songs are VERY catchy and I think they're made very well! I think it would be VERY neat to have all the songs on a cd so my son can hear them while we're in the car!

I love the songs and the show. I already made a CD of my own for my son and daughter. I downloaded the songs from YOUTUBE and converted them to MP3 format and made my own CD. When I am down and out at work I listen to them and I feel much better.
